Copy Cat™ Pizza Calculation. We need 22.5 bags of wheat to make 90 pizzas. That's a very small amount of wheat! You can expect to make about 4 to 6 medium pizzas from the flour produced by a one-kilogram bag of wheat. The exact number depends on the flour yield and the recipe used, but here is the valuation.

That's a very small amount of wheat! You can expect to make about 4 to 6 medium pizzas from the flour produced by a one-kilogram bag of wheat.

The exact number depends on the flour yield and the recipe used, but here is the valuation based on common industry standards:

🌾 Calculation

1. Flour Yield from 1 kg of Wheat

The raw wheat grain needs to be milled into flour. The yield depends on the type of flour:

 * Whole-Wheat Flour: Milling 1 kg of whole wheat berries yields almost exactly 1 kg (1,000 g) of whole-wheat flour (because the entire grain is used).

 * White Flour: Milling 1 kg of wheat typically yields about 750 grams to 800 grams of white (all-purpose or bread) flour, as the bran and germ are removed.

We will use the 1,000 g yield for whole-wheat, as it's the simplest conversion from raw wheat to the final baking ingredient.

2. Flour per Medium Pizza Crust

A medium pizza (typically 12-inches) requires a dough ball that is usually made with about 150 grams to 200 grams of flour.

 * For the purpose of an estimate, we'll use a conservative average of 170 grams of flour per medium pizza.

3. Estimated Pizza Count

We divide the total flour yield by the flour needed per pizza:

Using the whole-wheat flour yield:

Using the white flour yield (approx. 780 g):

Therefore, a 1 kg bag of wheat will likely yield enough flour for 4 to 6 medium pizzas, depending on the milling process and your dough recipe. So how many bags of wheat do we need for 90 pizzas.
