The Heritage Law Centre is starting at the JCA as sponsored by Dr. Pamela Appelt and supported by the BME Church, Toronto. Call or email is for more information or contact the JCA. We are open for personal visits on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. On these days, the intake Directors and Volunteers will discuss with any groups or individuals any matters they may raise for open answer and questions. Everyone is given 15 minutes. You must give us your email address and the basic nature of your problem before we start discussing anything with you. This will be forwarded to the processing centre. At most, the Intake Directors and Volunteers will provide you basic directions on how to get to the Family Law Court or the Landlord and Tenant Tribunals. There is a Court and Police Department at the corner of Arrow Road and Finch with a fully armed Warrant Officer, processing people for their bench warrant apprehensions for failing to appear in Court. But, we can help. For some matters, if it's very detailed, it is best you send a message through the contact form on this website. We will help you send the message using your phone or tablet along with your 30 word question. If this is not possible, we will make a note of your question using Google Live Transcription, we will copy it and then send it to the processing centre. Otherwise, send your inquiries to heritagelawcentre@gmail.com or leave a messages at 647-485-5206. The JCA will forward any email inquiries to us. Any hand delivered inquiries will not be processed. Please do not leave food gifts. But if you do, please leave your name on the packages. Thank you. That is very nice. All questions received will be sent to a Google doc or NotebookLM and shared with the Intake Directors. Food and drink for a $5.00 donation is available on Fridays from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. . Just mention the Heritage Law Centre. We would call this Cook and Curry™ night. But, instead we call it "Heritage Family Food"Fridays with the Heritage Law Centre. If you are interested in participating with intake, let us know. Ron Franklin, Greg Peck and Donald McLeod are Intake Directors. They have sent their approval to the JCA. You can provide your question and they will discuss it with you in general. We only need a thirty word description of your scenarios; if it's child support or criminal charges or a Landlord and Tenant problem. You provide your thirty words in an email. You must pay by Interac email money transfer at this time sent to info.angelronan@mail.com. The proceeds support this initiative which is a not for profit event in our desire only to help people. There will be Court room tours downtown at City Hall for the volunteers. We begin on second of Monday January 2026. There will be a special opening day on a later date; to be announced. If you are in treatment, received treatment or need medical treatment with all the various services provided through their Emergency Wing, please attend Sunnybrook or Vaughan Hospital and Medical Centre.
