We must remember how to use people to achieve our ends since we would like to show them that Black people are not just....you know what I mean. So we use who we can. Are they trained and experienced? That would be great. It is that we want students from all backgrounds to pursue education and to be treated fairly in their pursuit of this education and qualification. But, once they step out of training and school with their documents, how does it impact our culture, expectations and community, our anxiety about authority maybe or our own sense of position and involvement maybe as people who might have helped to tutor as volunteers or who may have attended Court to help people who attend as volunteers? You might ask what my position now that he has come back and become qualified and experienced? We can ask them to at least decipher and explain the situation along with potential, immediate defences as they can at least review the legal problem and help us understand what to say, how to approach it. We need to find a way to plug these young people in to the services we provide to our community. Have they been proactive and offered to help in some way? Have we called or emailed? Their graduation is evidence of our faithfulness and their faithfulness to our goal to show society on a whole that Black people are not just....I don't know how to say it. But they can contribute and perform at the highest level. We cannot expect our grand nephew who is a cop to enter into a conflict of interest and just delete the court date for whatever money we would offer to pay. What would we offer him and pay that he would take his own life and lose his job? Is it that you would not understand that he cannot help the way you would wish but maybe the person you send to him is just convicted for the candy bar they are wrongly accused of stealing and they get a 5 year sentence. They also seem to end up dead in 20 days since you cannot ask your cop son to lose his job. The volunteers can still attend as supportive pastors, school tutors or community activists. Warren is not being threatened into some Activist mystique; is he? Who would do that and say he can't just feel like that guy reading news on tv? ..and now there is this formally trained and experienced man or woman, with their documents, that can attend Court and now its a question of how we can cooperate with this person who has come about due to all of our prayers for representation from our skin or type of people that they would not only get accepted to the school programme and then also be treated fairly in those programmes...and now we can cooperate with them to help our culture, family, people and congregation? We must remember how to use people to achieve our ends since we would like to show them that Black people are not just....you know what I mean. So we use who we can. Are they trained and experienced? That would be great. We are not going to fight over work, involvement and authority. We cooperate just like when we do other things to maybe..... worship the Lord. Do you play the piano? Do you have Court experience? Then, that's great as we serve the community...and the church with the Pastor for us. Thank God for the Pastor and the Pastoral team. We would not be here without his prayers.
