Hmm... So, it's a situation that will, with 90% probability, resolve with a dismissal of all charges since the officer did not have articulable evidence in mind or recorded in notes to explain why he pulled her over; so therefore it's a Constitution privacy violation with no probable cause. He should not search the plates without cause and if he did not search the plates without cause, it would not have happened. The whole transaction is thrown out. She is right but should not drive off on the Officer. It was a violent decision. The officers countered with respected, cunning ways. The officer, in hindsight, would issue a citation or give a warning and not tow it per se since it's gone consuming to wait there (for his own personal safety) but with the citation issued and she can argue in Court on the date. With warning and citation, The Officer will smile with her and still issue the tickets for no insurance and then schedule the tow of her vehicle at the front door of her home just as she is making some Shepherd's Pie and then also maybe take her at her front door if they resist, since she has her forum to argue in court now but no where else; about "no probable cause". She can protest that the ticket is not signed. What do you want me to do? He should not search the plates without cause and if he did not search the plates without cause, it would not have happened. God as Judge will decide between us. He knows where she lives, what she did last summer based on her plates and has issued also an automatic mailed notice for her to appear in Court for the citation. She would get it in the mail and maybe she would Apple forget to attend so she would then be arrested for failing to appear which is a misdemeanor; an arrestable offence. When he got home, he got a call that his brother from Boston, while touring Toronto was arrested after a librarian called to say he smelled like money. They came to the library, looked at him and then took him outside, mugged him of his ID and said "...walk." The hotel would not help him since they were not sure who he is. The officer sent scouts ( junior officers) to recover him and drive him back across the border. They found him in the subway, riding the it all day; half dead looking. He said the officers sounded like an occupying force named Pepe Le Pieu, smelled like skunks and looked like Lumber Jacks. So, he drove off on them at first since.....they look like they were threatening to break into an unknowingly "shock and awe" state sponsored breach of UN Laws with respect to basic human rights of any persons. We are having some problems with the administration of the system and what would you say if the subway doors did not open when expected to. They like they were fixit to lynch a Red Sox white guy. But, where are they from?
