In the end, alcohol (beer and wine) is just a product. It can be sold responsibly any where with staff trained to check ID. This was our idea years ago. The issue of the government owned retailer is that it has to build stores and pay rent. Our key concern, not an idea of ours, is the payment of the income support benefit to all citizens for peace, order and good government; not our idea but we do agree. It is the most effective means of consumer stimulus and avoiding the down turns.
