This just in; The 2023 Extra gum commercial with two people sitting in a car parked in an alleyway has been considered controversial and so illegal by some. It violates censorship laws in that the standard legally required notice concerning it's content is not aired before the ad is played. It is rumored that a few Human Rights applications have been initiated to seek compensation due to offended feelings. Damages can be awarded at more than $7000.00 in some cases. The commercial is essentially a criminal offence. One woman, as rumored, has started a tort action as the commercial airs content that is not usually seen except in R rated movies. She is suing for emotional distress.
