An Alusra™ proposal to fight against fraud: This just in; there is a new question prompt on the electronic cashier machines that will ensure the machine at the counter is associated with the retailer and that the transaction in progress is intended by the customer at that retailer. There have been some problems with machines from other retailers in hotels and restaurants that are associated or connected to the retailer location or retailer account in which it is found. The machine could be attached to a retailer down the road, across town or next door. The prompt will ask you to confirm you are at Horse Milk Burgers location 4063 Dundas and Strand Trafalgar via the machine network (and it cannot be changed with the location number or and description also a requisite and we will the last four digits of the business' account #) as that is the location associated with the machine for instance and that you intend to purchase the product for the said amount. The customer will say "Yes" or "No." If yes, then you proceed if you are at Horse Milk Burgers. You will not be able to modify this prompt nor can you remove it. Payment is important and losing one entire hour in this malice or hunger game is just not on. We need application modernization and updating to prevent these frauds. But what if you are at Dominoes Pizza and the machine asks you to confirm you are at Donkey Burgers? The machine is tasked to Donkey Burgers and is in the wrong location. You would say "no" when asked as you are not at Donkey Burgers. You would not use that machine no matter what anyone says as there is something wrong and just pay cash if you can or they can offer you another machine. This is an Alusra ™ proposal submitted by Warren A. Lyon.
