I'm a regular High School graduate and I have a $500.00 Credit card. It's a pay as go card and I scratched the word Cryptocurrency on the back of the card. I got the card in Mexico but it was issued in US currency; US currency that is known as a stable coin or stable currency. When I spend with the card in the US, there is no exchange earned by the card but when I spend in Mexico there is exchange earned by the card company against the Mexican peso. You see the foreign exchange transaction on the statement. I have had this card account since 1990. I could not put more than $500.00 on the card. You notice that a card with a small limit actually prevents the bank from collecting more money on the card, above and beyond the limit. A pay as you go card allows the card company to take on unlimited amounts of money in the stable coin currency ( the US currency) and when you spend with the card in Holland, you will see the stable coin currency converted into the Euro for each transaction you complete in Holland. Its still the Euro currency in Italy.
