The Evening Briefing 23/05/2026. We cant have a senior officer or a junior officer that has not paid their parking tickets, that has not paid his car insurance and then he continues to drive. We are still learning just what we expect of the job. The Senior officers will tell us what we normally do in this type of situation even if we are all family here; right? But what would you want? If it's personal property of a citizen that was abandoned in public, we investigate and charge the person responsible for the abandonment. We charge them for the break in. We charge them for the possession of stolen property. We charge them for the threatening. We may have given the thief a copy of the items abandoned ( photos on a memory key) since we were temporarily confused by his breathing in the police station. His breathing says he could be your father but he does not really respect anything and that now you are confused. The problem with this is that it is still property belonging to another; the abandoned items. It is also evidence with his finger prints on the original photos. The essential job description is to serve and protect. This is not serving and protecting if; that is if we have not returned the property to the client citizens. It was stolen from his home. You will now at least provide a copy of the memory key to the citizen. You will notify him to pick it up at a station and we will provide all the abandoned items to the client citizen.
