This just in; There are unusual happenings in the GTA based on new evidence from Crime Stoppers and also some of the local libraries. But, will the EMS services resolve the situation with precision? Of course; they will. A woman shows up at a library and says she has been displaced from her town home that she owned and purchased in 1987 in Port Credit. She is a White woman when she dyes it Brown or she is Black when it is her natural hair color. She has her toaster on her shoulders. It is getting cold and this is where she has chosen to resort for help. The police are not called right away. They eventually arrive in five days at 2 am and ask how they can help. She is soo embarrassed but she is the victim of a crime and only needs someone to help her regain access to her home. She has ID and can prove who she is. She has ID in her home but there is hesitation. She could not be making up the scenario. She hid the ID in her freezer. She also hid some, like many people do, in the milk fridge, at Walmart or Metro. She was mugged only a few weeks ago. It is taped to the bottom of the grocery store freezer. The condo building is empty but built by the government under the notion that every new unit is potentially a housing unit if not sold by the corporation before occupancy and also at least 20% is assigned as housing whether or not it sells. So, they decide to bring her to a condo at 3 am in the morning and tell the concierge the situation. There is no one at the desk really so they call the 25 hour response line and the person who gets the call contacts the building manager and the victimized lady is told to wait in the Amenities Centre until 9 am. The manager arrives at 9: 10 am and assigns her a unit that the government will pay for at 1.5 times the monthly lease rate. The building manager knows the story and asks 20 days after she arrives why they lady won't go back to her house. The victim lady says "...If this was not an assise time, I would take all my strength, smash the faces of the burglar-ing occupants, who were automatically convicted, and just break the window and enter my own home but I would not really fit through the window and I would also get someone to help me enter through the front door. Well, it is always an assise time so I can't break their faces now but the law at least covers me and allows me to regain access to my own property. The police know this. They can see the property is registered to me on their system. So, this was just a break from the regularity of my ownership. I could not argue with the police but this is what they decided and its probably because I did not look soo hot but I looked victimized. I am told now it is also because there is violence in my home and the risk of violence and they cannot have me wait in a cruiser while they wrestle with those people until they go. I was just soo in shock by what those people did as they threatened to kill me and leave me sad in public like they did but I can go now with a locksmith and just open my front door. In fact, I will drill the lock myself. Let me go there and see what I see." So, the woman went to her house and saw that it was now vacant except for the neighbors watching the door. The lawn was cut and the leaves had been put in bags; good neighbors. Thank God and she was now safe to move back in. Thank you to the government and the condo managers who are now indirectly public servants since the buildings are now 100% financed by the governments (mind you, this would have happened any way even if the income support had been provided to the whole population or increased to $100,000.00 per Canadian in 1990 at the great hour of desperation and the 3rd bankruptcy of Canada's largest builder at the time) and we can all benefit should we ever need the help. Make an application for housing if you need it and you will get your unit within 7 days; a new service mandate.
